Our Mission

We are in search of a skilled Lead Cloud Solutions Architect to enhance our expanding Cloud Architecture & Engineering team. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in developing various cloud solutions and is enthusiastic about collaborating with our clients, partners, and team members to propel the business forward. Your role will involve partnering with Caylent's Engineers, Delivery Managers, and Engagement Managers to implement AWS cloud solutions for our diverse and pioneering clientele. As a Lead Architect, you will engage with Caylent's most significant enterprise clients, utilizing cutting-edge technologies to assist forward-thinking customers in bringing innovative concepts to fruition.

Your Responsibilities

- Serve as a thought leader in designing solutions, reference architectures, and best practices.

- Collaborate in a highly interactive team environment, where your expertise is essential for proposing foundational cloud architecture solutions, identifying development opportunities, achieving cost efficiencies, and addressing vulnerabilities.

- Design, develop, and integrate sophisticated DevOps pipelines, including build automation, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), security measures, monitoring, logging, and alerting.

- Initiate new client projects.

- Engage with ongoing projects and deliverables while exploring new initiatives (R&D).

- Formulate long-term strategies with clients to adopt cloud best practices.

- Ensure the delivery of high-quality project outcomes.

Your Qualifications

- Over 5 years of experience as a Network Architect within enterprise environments, particularly in a consulting role.

- Ability to articulate technical objectives and solutions effectively to clients while fostering professional relationships.

- Proven critical and strategic thinking skills regarding business, products, and technical challenges faced by stakeholders.

- Strong expertise in building networks utilizing technologies such as AWS Cloud WAN, AWS Transit Gateway, AWS Direct Connect Gateway, MPLS, BGP, Site-to-Site VPN, IPAM, and CDN.

- Familiarity with modern firewall technologies, including Cisco, Palo Alto, and Fortigate.

- Hands-on experience with AWS and Serverless environments.

- Proven track record in designing and implementing high availability solutions across regions.

- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code implementation in AWS.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Enthusiasm for working in a startup atmosphere and the ability to function cross-functionally.

- A natural curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in areas such as:

- Migrations

- CI/CD

- Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Pulumi, etc.)

- Scripting

- Containerization (Kubernetes, Docker, ECS, Fargate, etc.)

- Cloud Security Best Practices

- Networking

- Incident, release, problem, and change management processes

- Experience in agile project environments.
