Respiratory Care Specialist

As a Respiratory Care Practitioner with Kaiser Permanente, you will provide skilled respiratory care and diagnostic services to in-patients, urgent care, and clinic patients. You will work closely with physicians to determine the most effective respiratory care modalities to achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct respiratory assessments, treatments, and modalities per protocol and as prescribed.
- Support patient care and customer service in Urgent Care by performing EKGs, blood draws, transporting patients, and participating in patient safety rounds and huddles.
- Communicate effectively to achieve optimal safety and quality outcomes; document all assessments, interventions, and effectiveness of treatments.
- Support quality improvement initiatives, collect data, and provide input regarding respiratory supplies and equipment.
- Respond timely and appropriately to urgent/emergent situations to provide respiratory care and support.
