About the Role: 24 Seven Talent is collaborating with a leading global sportswear brand to identify a Marketing Specialist focused on Trade Relations. This role offers a hybrid work environment and is a full-time contract position with potential for extension or transition into a permanent role.
Ideal Candidate Profile: The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in consumer goods, creative agencies, or project management, with a strong background in brand marketing and sales, particularly within the wholesale and sporting goods sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Business Unit and Sales teams to develop seasonal account strategies, tool requirements, timelines, and comprehensive deliverable lists for assigned accounts.
- Implement marketing strategies with accounts to enhance brand loyalty among target consumers and drive sales of key products.
- Act as a representative for the account and its competitors within Brand teams, collaborating with Category Communications Teams to fulfill all account requirements and tool development.
- Manage budgets for account-related projects within the Brand team, ensuring a balance between innovative creativity and efficient spending.
- Oversee timelines and communication regarding account plans and tool development, proactively addressing challenges and ensuring accountability among stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Global functions to address any additional market retail marketing needs not covered by Category Communications Plans.
- Ensure adherence to the Global/Market Brand calendar, prioritizing key campaigns and allocating channel marketing budgets appropriately.
- Provide ongoing feedback and share best practices with relevant global counterparts.
- Report on the timeliness of deliverables and evaluate the effectiveness of all wholesale trade marketing initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent professional experience, preferably in Sales and/or Marketing.
- At least 2 years of experience in consumer products, creative agencies, or project management.
- Demonstrated experience in brand marketing and/or sales, ideally in wholesale and the sporting goods industry.
- Experience in leading and managing diverse teams, including remote management.
- Proven track record in project management.
- Advanced proficiency in the MS Office suite.
- Experience in both market-level and above-market organizations is preferred.
