Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Intermountain Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing radiologic mammography exams and producing high-quality diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and preparation for exams.
  • Perform radiologic mammography exams, including advanced procedures like stereotactic biopsies and drainages.
  • Operate mammographic equipment to produce diagnostic images of high quality.
  • Use radiation protection to ensure patient and staff safety, meeting ALARA program requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including time stamps and image storage.
Requirements
  • ARRT registration.
  • Current Rad Tech license in the state of practice.
  • Meet and maintain mammography specific ACR & FDA/MQSA requirements.
  • Meet and maintain ARRT Advanced Mammography Certification.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Imaging or Mammography.
