Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Healthcare Specialist to join our team at New Season Treatment Centers. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing safe, quality, and best-in-class care for individuals living with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the promotion and restoration of patients' health, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
  • Supplies and administers medication pursuant to physician order, recording dosage administered in the medical record.
  • Conducts daily inventory of medication supply, maintaining absolute accuracy in daily accounting.
  • Assumes responsibility for safeguarding medication inventory and performs daily cash reconciliation.
  • Ensures disposal of medical waste through proper protocol and communicates patient issues or concerns to the Medical Director or RN.
  • Administers appropriate lab tests, schedules and screens patients, and assists the Medical Director in collecting data for the history and physical.
  • Maintains absolute control, tracking, and confidentiality of all patient medical paperwork, complying with federal and state privacy rules.

Requirements:

  • Active nursing license in the state in which the clinic is located.
  • Understanding of opiate addiction, medical terminology, general nursing knowledge, and techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft products, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Basic typing skills and ability to read, analyze, and interpret general healthcare journals.
