The Cloud Security Solutions Architect is a pivotal role that involves staying abreast of the latest developments in the field of security architecture and adapting these insights for practical application within the organization. Key Responsibilities:

  • Crafts a comprehensive architectural vision for all IT systems, ensuring alignment with enterprise frameworks.
  • Formulates strategies, plans, and problem-solving solutions at an enterprise level.
  • Collaborates across various channels, acting as a visionary to help define the trajectory for future initiatives.
  • Maintains an ongoing awareness of business, technical, and infrastructure challenges, serving as a consultant to foster creative solutions.
  • May oversee end-to-end project outcomes, including budgeting and policy development, while providing future technology strategies.
  • Engages with vendors to evaluate their technologies and influence their product roadmaps based on organizational needs.
  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge of how their specialization contributes to the overall business and possesses a solid understanding of the commercial landscape.
  • Provides thought leadership on critical subjects relevant to the business.
  • Utilizes sophisticated analytical skills to resolve issues in complex scenarios.
  • Influences the technology function through contributions to technical direction and strategic decision-making.
  • Employs strong communication skills to negotiate effectively, often at higher organizational levels.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
  • Assesses risks in business decisions, ensuring the firm’s reputation and safeguarding its assets by adhering to applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats.
  • Strong management and prioritization capabilities.
  • Proficient in developing collaborative working relationships.
  • Adept at managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities, thriving under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a quick learning ability for new tasks.
  • Detail-oriented with a methodical approach.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a Master's degree is a plus.
