Primary Responsibilities:

  • Architect, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications and services utilizing AWS and Azure.
  • Transform existing applications to harness cloud-native features, enhancing both performance and scalability.
  • Refine cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal cost, performance, and security.
  • Oversee the management and deployment of virtual machines, serverless resources, and virtual networks.
  • Administer and manage containerized applications through Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Set up and maintain cloud storage solutions, including object and block storage.
  • Design and manage APIs, content delivery networks, load balancers, and DNS settings.
  • Establish and oversee identity and access management (IAM) and role-based access control (RBAC) within the cloud environment.
  • Utilize machine learning services to create and deploy models in the cloud.
  • Monitor and log cloud infrastructure using industry-standard monitoring tools.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools such as GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management through Terraform and CloudFormation.

Required Qualifications:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification.
  • Significant experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS and Azure.
  • Practical experience with Docker and managed Kubernetes services.
  • Deep understanding of serverless architectures and microservices.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases, managed RDS, and data warehousing solutions.
  • Experience in API management, content delivery networks, load balancing, and DNS.
  • Knowledge of key management, IAM, and RBAC.
  • Experience with machine learning workflows in cloud environments.
  • Proficient in CI/CD methodologies and tools.
  • Acquainted with Agile practices and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and adeptness at troubleshooting complex challenges.

Preferred Skills:

  • Expertise in cloud governance, financial optimization, and FinOps principles.
  • Strong grasp of cloud pricing models and cost structures.
  • Experience in Python API development or Go programming.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
