Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electrical Assembly Specialist to join our team at Test Products Inc. as a Harness and Connector Builder. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to assemble mechanical and electronic subassemblies or products, perform high and low-voltage product testing, and provide troubleshooting expertise and guidance within assembly areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical and/or electronic subassemblies or products
  • Perform high and low-voltage product testing
  • Provide troubleshooting expertise and guidance within assembly areas
  • Conduct product testing as part of the final inspection of the product
  • Clean and maintain the workspace
  • Organize and maintain raw materials and work in process within the work area
  • Complete production paperwork including work orders, sales orders, and quality/testing documentation
  • Assist with physical inventory audits by counting and tagging parts accurately
  • Understand, support, and execute all work in a safe manner using the established procedures, methods, and safe working requirements
  • Implement and maintain department policies and standards
Requirements
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to multi-task and retain skills and knowledge
  • Ability to work both individually and in groups
  • Apply good judgment and follow directions
  • Proven ability to multi-task, set project priorities, establish department/discipline goals and objectives for self
  • Ability to use a computer, including Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PPT, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to either stand or sit for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, push, pull, reach, grab, turn, twist, and/or stoop
  • Ability to grab small parts or hand tools with hands
  • Effective ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with co-management, and co-workers as needed
  • Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues
