Job Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and skilled full-time Electrical Assembly Technician specializing in harness and connector production. The primary responsibility will be to create high-quality custom electrical components and fixtures while adhering to detailed Solidworks 3D schematics to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Position Type: Full-time

Work Schedule: Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. However, the Electrical Assembly Technician is expected to invest additional time as necessary to fulfill the company's strategic objectives.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Compensation: $18 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble mechanical and electronic subassemblies or products.
  • Conduct high and low-voltage product testing.
  • Provide troubleshooting support and guidance within assembly areas.
  • Perform product testing as part of the final inspection process.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
  • Organize and manage raw materials and work in progress.
  • Complete necessary production documentation, including work orders and quality/testing records.
  • Assist in physical inventory audits by accurately counting and tagging components.
  • Adhere to established safety procedures and methods during all work activities.
  • Implement and uphold departmental policies and standards.
Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Capability to multitask and retain essential skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Sound judgment and ability to follow instructions.
  • Proven multitasking abilities, with a focus on setting priorities and achieving departmental goals.
  • Proficiency in computer usage, including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.).
  • Attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Physical capability to bend, push, pull, reach, grab, turn, twist, and stoop.
  • Effective communication skills with co-management and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
