Position Information:
The Perinatal Sonographer Specialist operates ultrasound equipment to make quality images of the unborn fetus and of the female gravid and non-gravid pelvis under the direct order and supervision of a physician and in accordance with standard operating procedures. The specialist uses sonography to conduct fetal surveillance and antenatal monitoring. The specialist assists the supervising physician with invasive procedures as required. The specialist records images electronically in an image archive and reporting system. The specialist provides preliminary findings to the supervising physician. The specialist accomplishes patient care in a timely, professional, efficient, and safe manner.
Experience Requirements:
3 Years Clinical - Ultrasound Preferred
Education Required:
Graduate Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Radiologic Technology Required
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - OB/GYN Required - And Fetal Echocardiography Preferred
Hours of Work:
Monday-Thursday 7:45-5; Friday 7:45-12:45
Weekend Requirements:
No Weekends
