Perinatal Sonography Specialist

WakeMed is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As a Perinatal Sonographer, you will operate ultrasound equipment to create high-quality images of the unborn fetus and female pelvis under the supervision of a physician. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting fetal surveillance and antenatal monitoring, assisting with invasive procedures, and recording images electronically. To be successful in this role, you will need 3 years of clinical experience in ultrasound, a graduate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Radiologic Technology, and registration as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - OB/GYN. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sonography principles and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. If you are a detail-oriented and patient individual with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply. The position offers a Monday-Thursday schedule from 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM and a Friday schedule from 7:45 AM to 12:45 PM, with no weekend requirements.
