About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Professional Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong background in mechanical design, proficient in Pro-E skills, and familiar with storage and shipping container design. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and experience in tactical missile design and configuration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform trade studies and interface with major suppliers on complex mechanical assemblies
  • Lead junior engineers in creating detail designs
  • Understand welding, machining processes, and vibrations/isolation systems
  • Embracing 1LMX initiatives and incorporating them where feasible within the program required
  • Working with a diverse team of internal organizations, managing supplier inputs, and developing internal documentation to meet contractual delivery expectations
Requirements
  • Understanding of GD&T, manufacturing processes & approaches
  • Proficient CAD user (Creo, CATIA, etc)
  • Good communication skills and utilization of office suite of tools
Clearance Level

This position requires a government security clearance, and the candidate must be a US Citizen for consideration.
