Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Class A Tanker Driver to become part of our safety-focused workforce. Our Class A Drivers are tasked with navigating routes across the Midwest, specifically from various locations, while accumulating significant mileage each week. This role primarily involves operating tractor/trailer-tanker combinations and may require travel away from home for periods of 3-5 days.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prioritize Health and Safety by adhering to all safe work practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Operate tractor trailer tanker units and additional vehicles.
  • Transport fuel loads and water materials from Clean Harbors branches to recycling centers.
  • Ensure compliance with weight regulations and proper utilization of vehicles.
  • Properly placard vehicles in accordance with Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, as well as vehicle inspection records.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Valid Class A CDL is mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel away from home for 3-5 days at a time.
  • HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements are required.
  • A minimum of 3 months of tanker driving experience is necessary.
  • At least 12 months of Class A Tanker driving experience is required.
