Job Title: Computational Fluid Dynamics Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) specialist to join our Water and Wastewater Team at Garver Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CFD modeling for water and wastewater engineering applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with team members to identify CFD modeling needs and lead CFD evaluations on various water and wastewater projects.
  • Interpret model results and prepare written reports, as well as support development of presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion and high-quality work products.
  • Support business development activities, including client-specific presentations, proposals, and interviews.
Requirements:
  • Master of Science degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering or a related field with a concentration in fluid mechanics.
  • Experience in water and wastewater engineering, including treatment plant hydraulics, and proficiency in CFD software (Fluent, STAR-CCM+, OpenFOAM, FLOW-3D).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as ability to work with remote teams.
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to become registered within six months of start of employment.
