Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Sr Software Engineer to join our team at Atrium Health. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions to meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and define system scope and objectives, preparing detailed specifications for software development.
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document software programs, providing guidance and training to other application specialists.
  • Coordinate with clients and peers to enhance system functionality, understanding the possible ramifications to business processes and Information Services.
  • Ensure client requests are properly evaluated and responded to in a timely manner, leading teams of one or more members as needed.
  • Manage training, including course development and delivery, breaking down complex problems into manageable tasks.
  • Provide feedback to management for evaluation and counseling of team members, leading projects in one or more aspects of the information systems lifecycle.
  • Develop workplans, estimate tasks, and record time tracking for self and team members, ensuring successful completion of assigned projects on schedule and within budget.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Formal training in Information systems, desktop applications, databases, software development packages, and programming languages preferred.
Working Conditions

This position is subject to high-level visibility through verbal and written communications with senior hospital management, associated project deadlines, personnel evaluation, and counseling. Must be available for on-call support on a regular basis and willing to work overtime as needed.
