We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Exercise Program Manager to lead our exercise programs for individuals at risk for cardiovascular disease. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing fitness programs, providing supervision, and assisting in program operation.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise clients during exercise sessions to ensure a safe and effective workout environment.
- Develop and deliver educational programs to clients and the community on exercise and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Maintain a clean and organized exercise environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Develop and implement staff training programs to enhance their skills and knowledge in exercise programming.
- Assist in the development of new exercise programs and services to meet the needs of our clients.
- Conduct fitness assessments and provide exercise prescriptions to clients, taking into account their individual needs and goals.
- Achieve assigned program goals and objectives, ensuring the success of our exercise programs.
- Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a fitness-related position, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Licensure/Certification: BLS certification is required.
- Special Skills: Basic computer literacy and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Training: Certification equivalent to ACSM Exercise Specialist is preferred.
