Job Summary:
The Facilities Manager - Operations Leader provides strategic leadership to plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and control the daily activities of the Plant Operations Department at Merit Health River Oaks. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the hospital and clinical facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, maintain, and correct all aspects of the facility to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory codes and standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve facility operations and reduce costs.
- Manage and coordinate the activities of the Plant Operations Department, including maintenance, repair, and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care.
- Ensure adherence to JCAHO accreditation standards and other regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in physical plant operations, industrial maintenance, or a related discipline.
- Five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience and four (4) years of Plant Operations management experience.
- Experience working in healthcare facilities and familiarity with JCAHO accreditation standards.
