Job Title: Construction Manager

Boardwalk Pipelines, LP is seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to join our team in Flowood, MS. As a key member of our Engineering and Construction department, you will be responsible for leading construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring safe and efficient facilities are built in compliance with company, regulatory, and professional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site construction leadership and collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Field Operations, and other departments to plan and construct facilities.
  • Participate in constructability reviews at various stages of project development and design.
  • Work closely with operations to develop comprehensive project job plans, including safety protocols and staffing needs.
  • Manage on-site inspection staffing, supervise site inspection staff, and ensure compliance with all required areas.
  • Collaborate with Project Management teams on cost, schedule, quality assurance, RFIs, Change Orders, and other key issues.
  • Handle Project Manager duties, including scoping, estimating, specifying, and ordering materials, as well as coordinating permits and approvals.
  • Act as Boardwalk's authorized representative in dealing with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in design and/or construction of natural gas transmission and storage facilities.
  • Natural gas industry experience.
  • Strong oral/written communication, administrative/organization, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage facility construction schedules and processes while prioritizing multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal direct supervision.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Preferred Skills:
  • 5 years of industry construction experience in a leadership role with supervision duties.
  • Drive to stay current on technology, industry standards, materials, and regulations.
  • Good working knowledge of DOT 192, DOT 195, FERC, OSHA, and API 1104 requirements.
