We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Specialists to join our team at the Helen Ross McNabb Center in East Tennessee. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals and families in need.

Salary: $16.22 - $18.59 per hour (depending on position, education, and experience)

About the Role:

  • We offer a range of opportunities for mental health professionals to work with clients in clinics or community settings
  • As a Counselor or Advocate, you will provide information and referral services, agency linkage, advocacy, home visits, and follow-up services as defined by individualized goals
  • You will also have the opportunity to work with Peer Support Specialists, who are primary mental health consumers with relevant life experience and a desire to be a role model for recovery

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve in a direct care role that involves supervising/monitoring clients in an inpatient or residential setting
  • Perform intakes, inventory belongings, perform safety checks, facilitate psychoeducational groups, and provide a supportive environment for clients
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Valid driver's license and access to personal vehicle for local travel
  • Ability to relate to individuals and families of varied ethnic and cultural backgrounds, ages, educational levels, and economic circumstances
