The role of the Strategic Technology Leader is pivotal within Tiger's core Data & Insights Solutions practice. This leadership position demands a comprehensive understanding of technology, honed through extensive experience in executing large-scale transformations, spearheading innovation-driven initiatives, and effectively engaging with executive stakeholders across both IT and business domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide thought leadership and foster client engagement.
- Collaborate with data leaders at strategic client organizations to deliver forward-thinking advisory services.
- Conduct educational sessions and forums to disseminate thought leadership insights to our core clients.
- Proactively assess client platforms, organizations, and practices, offering improvement recommendations and strategic roadmaps.
- Lead technology initiatives that drive transformation agendas focused on Data and Insights, addressing technological, organizational, and process-related aspects.
- Assist in recruiting top-tier talent for critical client technology roles.
- Design comprehensive technology solutions for innovative and complex projects.
- Engage in pre-sales activities and new business development.
- Showcase Tiger's capabilities to prospective clients.
- Develop tailored solutions and proposals that meet client needs.
- Provide leadership within the Data and Insights practice.
- Mentor engineering talent across various levels.
- Oversee architectural resources and initiatives.
- Create thought leadership materials for market offerings, including reference architectures and methodologies.
- Participate in refining hiring practices through interviews and assessments.
- Collaborate with offshore teams on solutions, training, and overall capability enhancement.
Required Expertise and Skills:
- Proven experience in developing solution architectures for large enterprises and transformation initiatives.
- Extensive knowledge of traditional and modern data platforms, including NoSQL, MPP, columnar, big data, and cloud data services across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Familiarity with data processing tools and frameworks, including batch ETL, real-time streaming, and IoT architectures.
- Experience with Big Data, Data Fabric, and Data Mesh architectures.
- Understanding of federated and centralized data management practices, including data governance and industry-leading data management platforms.
- Expertise in establishing data governance frameworks, data catalogs, and comprehensive data security measures.
- Knowledge of MLOps processes, platforms, and their organizational implications.
- Experience with machine learning models and their lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with data warehousing, business intelligence lifecycle, and related technologies.
- Insight into knowledge graphs and associated graph technologies.
- A minimum of 5 years in consulting leadership roles.
