POSITION SUMMARY
The primary function of this role is to assist the Production Scheduler and Purchasing Specialist in their daily operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Input daily labor and scrap data into our ERP system
- Coordinate daily material deliveries from the warehouse to the production facility
- Collaborate with purchasing and scheduling teams to manage daily outsourcing tasks
- Generate purchase orders for direct materials, outsourcing, and capital equipment
- Prepare and distribute shop schedules to the production floor based on the Production Scheduler's directives
- Compile and present customer-specific spreadsheet requirements
- Assist with quarterly physical inventory counts
- Perform other related duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY ROLE
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Proficiency in data entry, spreadsheet management, databases, and computer-based scheduling/material management tools.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven organizational abilities
Understanding of effective team-building techniques and team dynamics
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
Demonstrated analytical thinking skills
Capability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.
Compensation: Annual salary range of $21,000 to $25,000.
