About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Service Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex electrical systems, including fire alarm and life safety systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals to ensure accurate and efficient service
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Participate in on-call rotations and assist with training and mentoring of new team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the success of our team
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in low voltage electrical systems, including fire alarm and life safety systems
  • Valid Fire Alarm License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Physical ability to lift and move equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overnight travel
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to learn quickly
  • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test
Preferred Qualifications
  • NICET Level II certification
