Cardiology Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Technician to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Cardiology Technician, you will be responsible for conducting electrocardiogram (EKG), phonocardiogram, echocardiogram, and stress tests using electronic equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting cardiological tests and ensuring patients are comfortable and informed throughout the process.
- Recording test results and consulting with physicians to schedule follow-up tests.
- Assisting physicians during non-invasive cardiological procedures and monitoring patients' heart rates.
- Maintaining cardiological equipment and supplies, including daily cleanings and adjustments.
- Recording supply inventory levels and restocking the supply storeroom as needed.
- Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and reporting issues to superiors.
- At least 2 years' experience working as a Cardiology Technician.
- Excellent knowledge of cardiovascular diseases, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Ability to use cardiological equipment, such as EKG machinery.
- Proven ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Proven teamwork mentality and ability to collaborate with co-workers.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification.
- Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong technical skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Passionate about patient care.
- Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
- Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
- Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and service excellence.
- Ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving expertise.
- Can-do, team-oriented attitude and ability to work independently and interact with physicians, managers, and staff.
