Cardiology Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Technician to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Cardiology Technician, you will be responsible for conducting electrocardiogram (EKG), phonocardiogram, echocardiogram, and stress tests using electronic equipment.

• Conducting cardiological tests and ensuring patients are comfortable and informed throughout the process.
• Recording test results and consulting with physicians to schedule follow-up tests.
• Assisting physicians during non-invasive cardiological procedures and monitoring patients' heart rates.
• Maintaining cardiological equipment and supplies, including daily cleanings and adjustments.
• Recording supply inventory levels and restocking the supply storeroom as needed.
• Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and reporting issues to superiors.

• At least 2 years' experience working as a Cardiology Technician.
• Excellent knowledge of cardiovascular diseases, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Ability to use cardiological equipment, such as EKG machinery.
• Proven ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Proven teamwork mentality and ability to collaborate with co-workers.

• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification.
• Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Passionate about patient care.
