Job Description

USGP seeks a skilled Referral Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

As a Referral Coordinator, you will be responsible for identifying and tracking eligible beneficiaries who require specialty care outside of the clinic. Your duties will include generating weekly reports on referrals not activated, pending appointments, and no-shows, as well as communicating with Case Managers as needed.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of medical scheduling procedures and be able to process monthly network referrals efficiently. Additionally, they will participate in weekly meetings and monitor clinic queues to ensure referrals are closed within the necessary timeframe.

This role requires strong typing skills, with a minimum speed of 50 WPM, as well as certifications in Basic Life Support through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association. Experience in medical scheduling is also essential, with at least one year of experience in a similar role.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on location and qualifications.
