Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at New Franklin Adult Day Care Center.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional care to our residents, adhering to the scope of practice for CNAs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control practices and universal precautions.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, fostering a positive atmosphere for all internal and external customers.
- Assist residents with daily activities, including meals, rehabilitation programs, and social events.
- Participate in emergency procedures, such as code E, fire, and general health care emergencies, as directed.
- Provide post-mortem care and assist with transportation to the morgue, as needed.
- Collaborate with the Nursing Department to develop and implement therapeutic activities.
- Monitor and report any changes in resident condition to the nurse in charge.
- Complete required documentation daily, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Assist in the orientation of new staff members, promoting a smooth transition.
- Adhere to the code of conduct, ensuring resident privacy and HIPAA compliance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, supporting the overall mission of the center.
- High School Degree or equivalent.
- NYS Certificate as Certified Nurse Assistant.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Ability to walk long distances, climb stairs, and remain on feet for extended periods.
- Physical and mental demands include bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, reaching, stretching, and lifting up to 50lbs.
- English language proficiency, with the ability to speak, read, and understand.
- Spanish and/or Mandarin speaking desired.
