The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care in a residential setting and be able to establish a safe environment for the facility, staff, visitors, and residents. Key responsibilities include monitoring resident population, reporting suspicious activities, conducting resident counts, searches, and vehicle searches as required.

This role also involves processing residents for intake/discharge, monitoring resident worker activities, and providing necessary instruction. Additionally, the Security Monitor I, Community Corrections will perform rescue functions at accidents, emergencies, and disasters, including administering basic emergency medical aid and CPR.

Requirements include a High School diploma, GED certification, or equivalent, and work experience in the operations of a correctional facility. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate clearly verbally and in writing, apply problem-solving techniques to complex issues, and be available to work any hours, any shift.
