Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist I to join our team at UCHealth. As a Speech Language Pathologist I, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patient populations for therapy needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
  • Establish a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family according to their capabilities and desires.
  • Provide education to the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
  • Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting.
  • Supervise and delegate the care provided by therapy assistants according to established licensing laws, state regulations and practice standards.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Current certification with Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies to practice Speech Pathology required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
