Job Overview

Performance Contracting Group, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Project Engineer to join our team in Lakeland, FL. As a key member of our PCI Tampa operations, you will play a vital role in supporting our construction projects and contributing to the growth and success of our employee-owned organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular safety meetings to ensure a safe working environment
  • Create and manage punch lists to ensure project completion
  • Support the implementation of Quality Control Measures outlined in our QA/QC program
  • Prepare and submit RFIs and submittals as required
  • Labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
  • Perform quantitative takeoffs for material ordering
  • Support the implementation of the job schedule
  • Coordinate warranties and O&M's
  • Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or Construction Science, or comparable work experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • A clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawings
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to learn new job skills and apply them as taught
  • Customer service skills, including building strong relationships with customers
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
