Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Project Engineer to join our team at Performance Contracting Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supporting project management and estimating activities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Create and manage punch lists to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Support the Quality Control Measures outlined in the QA/QC program to ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Prepare RFI's and submittals to facilitate effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Quantitative takeoffs for material ordering to ensure accurate estimates and minimize waste.
  • Support the implementation of the job schedule to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Coordinate warranties and O&M's to ensure customer satisfaction and minimize potential issues.
  • Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing to ensure accurate tracking and payment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or Construction Science, or comparable work experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • A clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawings.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a culture of safety and inclusiveness.
  • Ability to learn new job skills and apply them effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues and minimize potential risks.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
Preferred Requirements
  • OSHA Certification to demonstrate commitment to safety and compliance.
  • Willingness to travel and relocate based on project needs to support business growth and development.
