About This Role
The Medical Director will provide leadership for providers and oversight to ensure a high quality of care for patients at Community of HOPE. This position requires a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner with specialization in family medicine or internal medicine, as well as experience practicing in an inner-city setting. The ideal candidate will be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and must have a strong commitment to improving health outcomes and ending family homelessness.

Salary Information
This role offers a competitive salary range of $112,000 - $132,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a generous salary, our benefits package includes 11.5 paid company holidays, 1 personal floating holiday, 15 days of paid vacation (increasing to 20 after 3 years of service), and 12 days of paid sick leave on an annual basis.

Responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities:
• Serves as a member of on-site management team to ensure smooth flow of patients and optimize the delivery of care to patients at the Family Health and Birth Center FHBC.
• Leads site-specific provider staff meetings, manages scheduling of provider staff, and ensures appropriate coverage for patients.
• Provides direct medical care to patients, following approved guidelines, and communicates with other providers on issues of patient care.

Supervisory and Leadership Responsibilities:
• Meets with supervisees regularly, provides real-time feedback, training, support, and coaching as needed, and creates meeting agendas, sends meeting agendas in advance when possible, and documents concerns promptly as needed.
• Reviews performance of team members, completes performance evaluations per due dates, and recognizes staff when appropriate.
• Partners with Talent Management regarding personnel matters, including terminations, leaves of absence, training, onboarding, and other COH handbook policies.

Requirements
• Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner with specialization in family medicine or internal medicine required.
• Current DC license to practice and CDS license required, with ability to obtain Maryland licensure reimbursement.
• Minimum two years' experience practicing in an inner-city setting preferred.
• Experience with electronic health records preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, required.
