About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Assembly and Installation Specialist to join our team at Yokogawa Electric Corporation. As an Assembly and Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for the assembly and installation of industrial automation systems, electrical systems, and manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install industrial automation systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and distributed control systems (DCSs).
- Install and configure electrical systems, including motor control centers, switchgear, and circuit breakers.
- Install and test manufacturing equipment, including assembly lines, conveyor systems, and packaging machinery.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure that all assemblies and installations meet the required standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and maintenance, to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in assembly and installation of industrial automation systems, electrical systems, and manufacturing equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including circuit analysis and troubleshooting.
- Experience with industrial automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and DCSs.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
