Job Summary

Adecco is seeking a skilled Mechatronics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and mechanical automated systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Coordinate on-site installation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical automated system machines, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and align electrical and mechanical automated system machines, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Software Management: Clear interfaces of electrical and mechanical software, ensuring seamless system operation.
  • Customer Communication: Effectively communicate with customers in high-impact scenarios, providing clear and concise information to resolve issues.
  • Process Development: Develop and maintain standards and tools for hardware projects, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Supplier Management: Monitor external suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality of components.
  • System Performance Monitoring: Monitor automated system machine performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Physical Demands: Maneuver warehouse and distribution center ladders, metal stairs, catwalks, and temporary structures to access and repair equipment.
  • Flexibility: May occasionally perform extended hours, weekend, and holiday work in support of customer service and change requests.
  • Travel: May travel to other sites for paid training, installations, and vacation relief.
  • Independence: Work independently with little or no supervision, taking initiative to resolve issues and complete tasks.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Train internal and external customers to increase system knowledge, resolve issues, and prevent issues from recurring.
  • Documentation: Update system manuals to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Customer Engagement: Attend and participate in customer meetings, providing expert knowledge and support.
Qualification Requirements
  • Education: 2-year degree in Electronic or Mechanical Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of equipment maintenance experience, preferably with automation.
  • Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles, motors, drivers, belts, and bearings.

Compensation: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
