Mechatronics Specialist

Job Summary:
Adecco is seeking a skilled Mechatronics Specialist to join our team. As a Mechatronics Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating on-site installation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical automated system machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and Repair: Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and align electrical and mechanical automated system machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Software Clearance: Clear the interface of electrical and mechanical software to resolve issues and prevent errors.
- Customer Communication: Effectively communicate with customers in high-impact scenarios to provide timely solutions and support.
- Standard Development: Develop and maintain standards and tools for hardware projects to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Supplier Monitoring: Monitor external suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials.
- Machine Performance Monitoring: Monitor automated system machine performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Physical Demands: Maneuver warehouse and distribution center ladders, metal stairs, catwalks, and temporary structures to access and repair machines.
- Flexibility: May occasionally work extended hours, weekends, and holidays to support customer service and change requests.
- Travel: May travel to other sites for paid training, installations, and vacation relief.
- Independence: Work independently with little or no supervision to complete tasks and projects.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Training and Development: Train internal and external customers to increase system knowledge, resolve issues, and prevent issues from recurring.
- Documentation: Update system manuals to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Customer Meetings: Attend and participate in customer meetings to provide updates and support.
Qualification Requirements:
- Education: 2-year degree in Electronic or Mechanical Technology or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of equipment maintenance experience preferably with automation.
- Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles, motors, drivers, belts, and bearings.
