About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent in Indiana. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI exams, ensuring accurate and safe procedures.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images, and develop film in an automatic processor.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to ensure patient safety.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • One or more of the following certifications: Cardiographic Tech, Radiologic Technologist (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), Radiologic Technologist (Radiography), or Medical Sonographer.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
