Job Summary

Medasource is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in the Indianapolis area. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting and guiding patients through MRI scans, operating magnetic resonance imaging machines, and creating diagnostic images of patients according to their physicians' instructions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist and guide patients through MRI scans, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging machines, following established protocols and procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Take patients' histories, prepare them for scans, and maintain accurate records of patient information.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of MRI technology, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in the field.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Exceptional communication, technical, and patient care skills.
  • Aptitude toward the team philosophy and ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of sterile technique.
  • For MRI registered: One of the following certifications is required: ARMRIT, CAMRT, or ARRT(MR). For MRI non-registered: Required certifications include Radiologic Technologist by the State of Indiana and ARRT(R) Registry, or Radiology Student Permit by the State of Indiana and ARRT registry eligible.
