Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled School Psychologist with a strong background in assessment, intervention, and counseling. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Provide direct counseling services to students addressing social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
  • Consult with educators and administrators to develop strategies for improving student outcomes.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and make recommendations for services and interventions.
  • Crisis intervention and support during emergencies.
Requirements:
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Massachusetts state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting preferred.
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to special education.
