Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Development Specialist to join our team in the Waltham area. This is a full-time opportunity for a qualified professional with experience in child development and psychology.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience working as a school psychologist, with a strong background in assessing students and developing recommendations for appropriate school programs.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments of referred students and develop plans to meet their needs.
  • Participate in Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings to collaborate with teachers and staff on student support plans.
  • Attend Individualized Education Program meetings and provide input on student programming.
  • Prioritize group and individual therapy sessions to support student growth and development.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • A valid ID Psychology License.
  • Previous experience working in schools or pediatric offices is preferred.
Work Arrangements

This is a full-time position with regular working hours from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 37 hours per week.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 per year, plus benefits.
