Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Northside Hospital. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care by taking radiographs (x-rays) and performing procedures accurately and compassionately.
Responsibilities- Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images, utilizing appropriate lead markers and date/time stickers as needed.
- Select proper technical factors and techniques to accommodate patient needs and administer contrast media when indicated.
- Prepare, transfer, and position patients safely and with modesty, utilizing auxiliary equipment and devices as necessary.
- Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exams, obtain informed consent, and complete required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time.
- Maintain effective communication with patients and other caregivers, including radiologists.
- Check equipment operation, maintain cleanliness, and keep rooms stocked with linens and necessary supplies.
- 2-year/Associate degree from a hospital-based Radiologic Technology program.
- Valid ARRT certification.
- Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to perform work requiring frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
