Assistant Director Opportunity at Bright Horizons

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our leadership team as an Assistant Director at Bright Horizons. As a key member of our center's management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our daily operations, from administration and educational programming to coaching teachers and orienting new families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Incorporate our company mission, culture, and values to maintain an inclusive environment and positive relationships with families, staff, and clients.
  • Regularly monitor the center's programs to assess program quality and ensure effective documentation and visibility of children's learning.
  • Lead compliance with licensing and accreditation standards, health and safety protocols, company policies, and new employee orientation.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in early childhood education or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least two years of leadership, mentoring, or coaching experience required.
  • Two to four years of professional child care teaching experience required; experience working in a NAEYC-accredited center strongly preferred.
