Ag Sales Professional for Agricultural Equipment

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Agricultural Sales Professional to join our team at Butler Machinery. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, promoting our range of Ag equipment and providing exceptional customer service.
About the Role:
This position involves introducing new customers to Butler Machinery and its products, building strong relationships with existing customers, and promoting and selling new and used Ag equipment. You will be responsible for delivering and demonstrating equipment features, communicating their value to customers, inspecting potential trade-ins, and providing real solutions to meet customers' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Introduce new customers to and promote Butler Machinery and its productsBuild and maintain strong personal relationships with customersPromote and sell new and used Ag equipment, as well as rental equipment solutionsDeliver and demonstrate equipment features/benefits and communicate their value to customersInspect and appraise potential equipment trade-insProvide customers with real solutions to meet their needs based on your understanding of how our products and services bring value to their operationProvide world-class customer servicePromote Butler's product support offerings, including parts and serviceBuild customer loyalty by following up on service or parts transactionsMaintain accurate customer and equipment population information in our systemsRequirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn local producer practices and the Ag industry
- Previous sales experience and knowledge of Ag equipment (preferred)
- Knowledge of AGCO and related/competitive product lines (preferred)
- Ability to understand and communicate basic financing with customers
- Computer experience with Microsoft Office
- Excellent self-motivation and personal accountability
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work evening and weekend hours as needed
- Must have and maintain a clean driving record
- CDL is preferred or willingness to obtain within 90 days
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary of approximately $80,000 per year, plus commissions, a company vehicle, health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, holidays, and more.
