Aircraft Propulsion Fuel System Stress Analysis Engineer

Futran Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Aircraft Propulsion Fuel System Stress Analysis Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience with Finite Element Modelling (FEM) and Finite Element Analysis in Aircraft propulsion fuel system components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural analysis of aircraft fuel systems (Propulsion) including calculation of loads, static and fatigue analysis.
  • Evaluate structural integrity of aircraft components by way of classical hand calculations.
  • Generate documentation (stress check notes) to report analysis results to support certification and qualification processes.
  • Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.
  • Work with regulatory framework (FAA) for safety and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Structural Engineering or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals such as material properties, free-body diagrams, load path, structural loads, joints and structural analysis methods.
  • Strong knowledge of strength of materials (hand calculation, analytical methods) approach.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft structure fuel systems (propulsion) design philosophy.
  • Aircraft fuel system components structural and safety analysis.
  • Experience in CAE tools (Altair Hypermesh, Hyperview, MSC Patran/Nastran), classical analysis methods.
