We are seeking a Cloud Computing Systems Manager to lead a team in operating and engineering AWS Crypto and Identity services for U.S. Government agencies, with a focus on isolated regions.

This role involves building and managing a top-tier engineering team, designing state-of-the-art approaches to problem-solving, and cultivating operational excellence through continuous learning.

Candidates must hold an active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above and be a U.S. citizen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team.
  • Design state-of-the-art solutions for complex technical problems.
  • Cultivate operational excellence through metrics and continuous learning.
  • Mentor and grow team members to take on higher responsibilities.
  • Communicate effectively to different audiences.
  • Lead deployment automation and monitoring processes.
  • Ensure capacity planning and performance engineering.
  • Utilize Agile engineering practices and DevOps model.
  • Experience with AWS, distributed systems, and cloud computing is desirable.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a systems engineering and operations leader.
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in building and leading teams.
  • Experience with performance engineering, capacity planning, and systems engineering fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of deployment automation, monitoring systems, and Agile engineering practices.
  • Exposure to AWS, distributed systems at scale, and forecasting.
