Join Our Team as an Emergency Department Technician

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Technician to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a critical member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support in our emergency department.

About the Role:

  • Assume responsibility for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the team to meet the physical and emotional needs of patients.
  • Perform functions as delegated by the RN according to the Nurse Practice Act and as noted in the job description for the critical care tech.
  • Work in a supportive, team environment with resources to help you flourish and leaders who care about your success.

Qualifications:

  • One year of healthcare experience (pre-hospital or ED or patient care) preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Graduate of an EMT-B program required.
  • IV Therapy Certification required (IV Certification is not required for positions located in Utah).
  • BLS (AHA) required.
  • EKG Certification preferred.
