Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team at Swedish Medical Center. As a key member of our emergency care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to emergency department patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license in the State of Colorado or current RN compact license from another state.
  • Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required; ENPC and NRP certifications preferred.
  • 1-2 years of acute care/specialty nursing experience desired.
