Job Overview

HFI-Assure Fertility Partners of Houston is seeking a highly skilled Lab Technician to join our team in the Piney Point location. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Lab Supervisor, Manager, or Director, providing laboratory services and working directly with technical or assistant staff performing tests in the clinical laboratory. Key responsibilities include assisting other lab staff in daily duties, providing support for all areas in the Endocrine/Andrology laboratory, and assisting with scheduling patients for andrology procedures and tissue transport.

We are looking for an individual with strong communication skills, ability to maintain logs and clinical data, and proficiency in entering specific clinical data into Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. The ideal candidate will also have experience in shipping and receiving specimens, maintaining Quality Control records, and ordering compressed gasses and liquid nitrogen.

Key Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Biology, Medical Technology, Chemistry, or Applied Science preferred
  • Two Years of Related Clerical/Administrative Job Experience strongly preferred
  • One Year of Experience in a Laboratory Setting required
