Ground Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Ground Systems Engineer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a Ground Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing ground systems for our clients in the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities- Design and develop ground systems for satellite missions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ground systems with other aerospace systems
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and specifications
- Lead technical interchange meetings to determine activities and technical work necessary to support transition
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- 10+ years of experience working in a space domain awareness field, satellite ground systems, mission management, command and control, or scheduling
- Experience with software development life cycles and Agile techniques
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Knowledge of DoD ground system architecture
- Ability to lead teams of developers
- Ability to communicate effectively, work in a fast-paced environment, and be flexible to changing requirements or customer needs
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
- Experience in scripting with Python or other languages
- Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and tools, such as Magic Draw, Cameo, or SysML
- Ability to demonstrate a dynamic work ethic and be highly motivated to contribute to the DoD mission
- Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220, annualized USD. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
