This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join Lockheed Martin as a Senior Systems Architect for Ground Integration. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the ground integration system architecture for our Meridian program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance on all facets of the Ground Integration System.
- Design, develop, and oversee ground integration system architecture, serving as the focal point for the development and communication of the system architecture.
- Ensure the conversion of mission requirements into total Ground Integration systems solutions that account for design and technology maturity constraints of the program.
- Develop systems and system element architecture, design, and interface definition.
- Lead the creation of, and subsequent closeout, of the Meridian Ground Integration and Test campaign.
- Self-directed and able to envision the end state of the product and take initiative to drive ground integration development to closure.
- Bachelor's or higher degree in an Engineering or closely related field.
- Experience as a Space Systems or Mission Architect, along with complete lifecycle experience with engineering processes and reviews.
- Strong knowledge of satellite ground system architectures and design of satellite ground systems.
- Familiarity with DoD program support.
- Demonstrated Systems Engineering or other technical experience on ground development programs.
- U.S. citizenship and current SECRET clearance, and the ability to obtain DoD TOP SECRET clearance.
- MBSE modeling experience with CAMEO and familiarity with SysML.
- Experience in agile development process, roles and rhythms.
- Experience with MBSE, Requirements Creation, and Digital Twins.
- Prior experience coordinating cyber into larger system solutions.
- Previous experience defining and documenting functional requirements.
- Experience with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF).
- Physical experience with architecture implementation, on premise primary and backup cloud design with cross domain solutions and firewalls.
