Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Olympic Medical Center. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in the care and preparation of surgical patients, working closely with the surgical team to create and maintain a sterile field.
Responsibilities- Assist in the care and preparation of surgical patients
- Function as a member of the surgical team, creating and maintaining a sterile field
- Knowledgeable about instruments, supplies, and equipment used during surgical procedures
- Understand the procedure being performed and anticipate the needs of the surgeon
- Assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs
- Provide care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures
- At least one of the following is required:
- Graduate of a school for training as a surgical technologist
- Minimum one-year recent surgical technologist experience
- Minimum one-year recent central service technician experience
- Minimum two-years recent OR/Endo Support assistant experience
- Current Washington State registration as a Surgical Technologist
- BLS required within 30 days of hire
