At AutoNation, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.

This role is responsible for selecting, training, and developing a high-performing sales team to achieve targeted sales and profit goals while maintaining a customer-centric approach.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in auto retail sales, leadership, and customer service, with a strong ability to mentor and train others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales and profit targets
  • Select, train, and develop high-performing sales associates
  • Partner with the General Manager to plan and manage new and used vehicle inventory
  • Manage controllable expense elements for the New and Used Vehicle Departments
  • Analyze business performance and develop action plans to improve sales and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Proven success in auto retail sales
  • Proven leadership ability to mentor and train others
  • Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
  • Ability to drive an exceptional customer experience
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organization and follow-up skills
  • Experience and desire to work with technology
