About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled High Power Radio Frequency (HPRF) engineer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing advanced HPRF systems for the warfighter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead engineering initiatives to develop next-generation HPRF systems
  • Design and develop high-powered, pulsed power-driven microwave systems
  • Develop and implement test methodologies for laboratory and field testing
  • Analyze test data and results to inform system design and development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HPRF systems with other technologies
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in HPRF engineering and system development
  • Experience with high-voltage, high-peak power spark-gaps, high-voltage power supplies, and fast transient diagnostics
  • Knowledge of RF and microwave signal generation and test equipment, vacuum devices, tubes, radars, and digital signal processing
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in HPRF engineering and system development
  • Experience with software engineering related to program development, modeling, or simulation
  • Master's degree in a relevant field
